Solar power

Solar power has the potential to become a major energy resource in the future for several reasons. New technologies to increase the efficiency are continuously under development. Polymer materials are used as damping, encapsulation and barrier towards moisture. The high temperature in combination with strong UV-irradiation increases the risk for degradation resulting in yellowing and loss in performance/efficiency.
